READ: Obama is a HUGE Music Guy

Love ’em or hate ’em politically, everyone can agree Obama has one amazing talent: an impeccable taste in music.

Pitchfork has created a timeline of all the musical milestones of Obama’s tenure as President. It’s amazing and a really interesting read. Also, the artwork throughout the article is very cool and I want to print all of it out and hang it above my bed. Or throw the prints all around the street like Regina George does with pages of the burn book in mean girls.

Read it now. Here. Do it. I’ll wait.

Mind. Blown. I mean, this guy is cool. And not just in a ‘I want to relate to the public to get votes’ kind of way. His personality and love for good music is really above and beyond. Can you actually imagine any other president having an actual MUSIC FESTIVAL on the White House lawn? I don’t say this often, but I literally can’t even.

And now you know. Obama loves Indie Rock and R&B, just like us!

Here are the track lists for his most recent Day & Night summer playlists. If you have Spotify, you can find all the playlists under the user ‘White House.’ Enjoy, readers. It’s never going to get better than this.
